Changing File Permissions

Q. how to i get my pictures to get off read only?
Like they were fine this morning and just now i look at them and every picture folder I have has changed to read only. I can't rename it or anything. There is a blue like read only arrow on the pics to i guess. I have no clue how this happend. I didn't do anything to change it.

I tried going to properties and un-checking the read only box but when i hit appy it says that access to this folder is denied and that I need permission? I'm the only one who used my computer theres no other accounts on it. Please help me get this figured out.

Sims 3 Parsing Error

Q. I know I've got framework 2.0net on my computer but I don't think my computer is recognizing it cuz every time I try downloading framework 2.0 it says its already on my computer. Then when I try to press on sims 3 it comes up with the error
I cant download 3.5 net either it won't work.
So could anybody tell me what error parsing 2.0 net ACTUALLY means

Q. hi, i just installed call of duty 2 with deviance onto my laptop, and whenever i run the game, the image pops up and then it says
"DirectX(R) has encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the DirectX(R) FAQ for possible solutions."
i already have Direct X 9, and it doesn't run. i have Windows XP 3gp ram, and about 300gp hard drive space. can someone tell me whats the problem? if i have to download something, please include the link thats NOT broken. Thanks

Q. I'm trying to download itunes. i keep getting error code 2503. i don't know how to fix it. HELP?
its pretty strait forward. i'm trying to load the latest versions of itunes and all that keeps coming up at the end is that there is an error and it's code is 2503.

Cyclic Redundancy Check when trying to copy a DVD to computer?

Q. I like to make a back-up copy of my daughters DVD because she has a tendency to scratch them or break them... especially the ones that she likes to watch quite a bit. There are several of her DVDs that give me the Cyclic Redundancy Check error when I'm trying to copy them to my computer... I Have cleaned the DVDs and cleaned the Drive in my computer... Is there any way i can get around this error???
